At CryptoMibs we believe blockchain technology can help close some of the socio-economic chasm that exist in the day today. We want to be an enabler of the mass adoption of blockchain technology by showcasing its benefits, contributing to its development, engaging in the disruption of existing industries, and educating the general public.
The gaming space provides great opportunities for the development of mass adoption of blockchain. That’s why we have been working on building CryptoMibs since 2018. With our arcade-style mini-games and home-grown marketplace, we are able to highlight the benefits of digital asset ownership, showcase various ways NFTs can provide utility, and explore cross-project interoperability all while having fun playing with NFTs based on real-life marbles.
A big obstacle to our goal has been finding the right blockchain that was could not only power our web3 engine but also be aligned with our vision. Our initial launch on Ethereum soon turned unsustainable with increased gas prices and network congestion. We had been lucky to avoid the the Loom Network shut-down in 2020, so we took our time and researched a number of options before landing on Polygon.
Our most important litmus tests for any partnership is based on the interactions with their representatives. Since we began interacting in June 2020, the Polygon team has been nothing but helpful and supportive throughout our transition. We are truly excited about the opportunities Polygon presents for us to grow our platform, grow our community, and deliver on our vision to make the world better, one marble at a time.
